SAMPLE
LETTER
Dear
I am deeply
concerned about the predicted consequences of climate
change on the Earth Community. As an Australian citizen
I believe that Australia should ratify the Kyoto Protocol
in the lead-up to the World Summit on Sustainable
Development to be held in Johannesburg in late August.
I urge you
to make every effort to ensure that Australia assumes
its international obligations in this regard and does
not abandon the long process that is leading to the Kyoto
Protocol becoming a legally enforceable international
agreement.
Yours sincerely
